Scope and overview

The privacy of users of the Zogix WebTop Suite and users of the Zogix website is very important to Zogix.

Zogix has provided this Privacy Policy to explain the Zogix approach to privacy, to describe the type of information that is collected from users of Zogix and to explain how Zogix and others use and share this information.

About Zogix and the Zogix services

Zogix Ltd ("Zogix") is a company registered in the UK under Company Number 05685734, with a registered office at 26 Lower Kings Road, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 2AB.

Zogix provides a software application (the "application") which is available for download from www.zogix.com (the "website"). The application is a web based desktop platform and can be used to improve individual and enterprise productivity by enabling faster access to information and improved collaboration both within and between enterprises.

By using the website, downloading the application or using the application you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. In using the application you may also choose to use software and services provided by third party providers, including Skype. Skype is a third party communication service provider who provides applications and services which allow you to instant message, chat and use other real time communication services with other members. Skype's own legal terms, including its privacy policies, apply to your use of Skype's applications and services, and consequently will apply whenever you access Skype from the network. What information is collected by Zogix?

Zogix will collect a variety of different information from and about you, depending on how you use the website and the application.

When you first sign-up, Zogix collects the following personal details about you to create your user profile:

• name
• Skype id
• country of residence
• city of residence
• industry area that you work in
• skills
• employers, previous and current
• current position
• any additional information you choose to provide.

With the exception of the 'employers' and 'additional information' fields, this information is mandatory. It is needed to create your user profile, which enables other users to make connections to you and to share information which may be relevant to you. You can choose which other users are able to see this profile information.

Once you have signed-up to the Zogix you may then voluntarily provide further information. The information which Zogix collects will depend entirely on what information you decide to divulge. For instance, when you use the application, including when you use functions like ask the network and polls, and when you use tools within your WebTop and Communities, Zogix may collect and store the information you contribute.

Zogix may, from time to time, also collect personal information about you from third parties - for instance if we carry out a credit check.

For quality control and training purposes your communications with Zogix may be monitored or recorded. What does Zogix do with your information?

Zogix uses the information collected to operate the application to provide you with goods and services, to operate Zogix's businesses, for administration and customer services, to conduct credit scoring, for marketing, to analyse your preferences and to ensure that the content, services and advertising that we offer are tailored to your needs and interests. This includes:

• creating and maintaining your account, and allowing you to use the application
• registering you with Communities
• identifying and recommending network content, including when you and other Zogix users create Communities
• providing you with services which you request
• sending you information and surveys
• sending you Zogix application updates
• tracking and categorising activity across the application
• managing and administering the application and Zogix's business;
• publicising application activity, and
• communicating with you regarding any other matters that Zogix considers may be of interest to you.

We will keep your information for a reasonable period for these purposes. By using the Zogix application you consent to Zogix transferring your information to individuals and organisations in other countries or jurisdictions, some of which do not provide the same level of protection as the UK. Zogix will always put in place a contract with these individuals and organisations to ensure that, so far as is reasonably possible, your information is processed with the same levels of security and protection that Zogix apply.

Who does Zogix share the information with?

Unless we have your express consent, Zogix will never sell, rent or otherwise share your personal information, except where we require to do so:

• to operate or maintain the Zogix application
• to provide any services requested by you
• to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation
• to comply with an order of a court or other legal, regulatory, government or administrative body
• to allow third parties to carry out services on our behalf
• to protect the rights, property or interests of Zogix or any third party
• in the event of a sale or merger
• to share with other users as part of the Zogix application
• when partnering with other organisations

We may also search the files of credit reference agencies who will record any credit searches on your file, and we may disclose details of how you conduct your account to such agencies. By signing up to the Zogix application you consent to us using your information in this manner.

Your control of information

It is up to you to control who you connect and share information with, and you can edit your personal settings at any time after initial registration from within the application.

You are responsible for deciding what and how much information you share with other users. You should consider carefully what information you are disclosing, and who you are disclosing it to, before creating or responding to an 'ask the network' or a poll or using any of the tools in the WebTop or Communities.

How do you access, update or modify your information?

You can access, update or modify your personal information at any time. You can change your log-in details through the settings function within the Private Zone. It is your responsibility to make sure that the information you provide is true, up-to-date and accurate at all times.

Automatic collection and storage of information

We may use information obtained about you from cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device) which we may access when you use the Zogix application, open an email from us or visit our site in future. Our cookies are temporary, and will not be stored on your computer after the browser window is closed. The cookies do not collect any information from your computer, other than to record a session ID related to your IP address.

If you want to stop cookies being used your computer in future, please refer to your browser manufacturer's instructions by clicking "Help" in your browser menu. Further information on deleting or controlling cookies is available at www.AboutCookies.org.

Each time the Zogix server is accessed, information is appended to a log file that allows Zogix to perform statistical analysis and understand how the service is being used and to predict usage patterns. Each entry contains a number of fields including the date and time of the request, the page requested, the user agent (browser) and the IP address used to access the server. The log files do not contain any other personal information and are not accessible to users of the Zogix service, they are only accessible to Zogix to help us understand and improve customer service. The Zogix application incorporates a database used to store Solution Zone information and to cache data from the Private Zone so that you can access that information offline.

Changes to this privacy policy

Zogix may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated Privacy Policy will be published on this page and therefore you should review it regularly. We will of course notify you of any changes where we are required to do so.
