LONDON, 25th April 2007: Zogix, an enterprise solutions company, today announces that it is launching its new 'mashware' platform at Internet World, Europe's largest digital business event. The Zogix WebTop Framework (ZWF) combines data and functions from traditional enterprise systems, websites and internet services to enable business users to access all the information they need in one place, on demand.

A recent IDC study* revealed that searching for and analyzing information consumes 24% of the typical knowledge worker's time, equating to approximately £2.8m per year in time wasted (across 1000 employees). Zogix's mashware platform eliminates the need for toggling between multiple internal and external applications, with business users able to search, retrieve and manage information quickly and easily.

Business users can personalize enterprise applications by creating 'widgets' or light-weight applications that deliver dynamic information directly to the user. These applications are developed by re-using existing enterprise data and combining it with external internet data. ZWF is the first platform to enable end users to create widgets with very limited programming knowledge.

Charles Vivian will be presenting on 'Enterprise 2.0 - in reality' in the Web 2.0 Theatre at 15:30pm on Wednesday 2nd May. The joint presentation with Oracle and Trampoline Systems will highlight some of Zogix's experiences in selling and deploying Enterprise 2.0 products.

Visitors to the stand will also benefit from a free demo of the ZWF platform.

The ZWF platform has been used to deploy a collaboration suite that consists of pre configured widgets: Workspace with project management tools, Skype widget, social networking and other widgets. This application is currently being deployed across various enterprises.

Pre-configured widgets include:

Zogix Dashboard - enables users to create their personalized dashboard of content, applications, communities, social network and collaboration workspace. (My WebTop)

Zogix Social Network - enables users within enterprises to create personal networks and involve members from the organisation's ecosystem. Organisations create an organisation specific social network involving their ecosystem. (My Network Status)

Zogix Communities - enables users to create communities of shared interest areas involving ecosystem members. (My Communities)

Zogix Feed aggregator - enables users to access content via RSS / ATOM feeds from specific internet sites and internal communications which are updated in real time on their desktop.

Zogix Workspace - enables users to collaborate in real time leveraging project management and collaboration tools that are integrated with Skype. (My Workspace)

Zogix Widgets - enables users to access workflows relevant to their individual business functions and roles. These modules integrate different data sources and aim to deliver real time business application to end users.
